Just before the main Thoughtcrime exhibition takes place in the tram tunnel in Southampton Row, there is a special mini exhibition featuring some work by artists involved in Thoughtcrime.

From 9th-22nd April you can see the work of Alec Hole and Aaron McPeake in the window gallery in Central Saint Martins, Charing Cross Road, London. Just walk down the road and you’ll see the windows, on your left if coming from Leicester Square and on the right hand side of the road if you’re coming from Tottenham Court Road or Oxford Street.

Aaron has created a special installation related to “Nineteen Eighty-Four” and Alec has created a poster display also inspired by the book. The full series of posters will be on display in the main Thoughtcrime exhibition. Both works have a shared theme with the title ‘We Hold Company Interests Above Individual Interests.’

If you like the work in the window gallery, come and see more work like it at the main Thoughtcrime exhibition. See the home page for details!

Special thanks to the following, without whom the window gallery exhibition would not have been possible:

Shumi Bose for her help setting everything up!

Canon for posters

Stairway Communications for mounting

Bill Rogers and Tom Sellick of the Metropolitan Police for materials!
